Many still believe that your genetic code comes prepackaged and decides what proteins are built in your body and how…
And this is what determines your actions and your behaviour.
This is a Determinist view of life – where consciousness is viewed as a by product of programming.
“You’re nothing but a victim of your genes”…
But the new research shows…
It’s actually how we see and respond to our environment, & our attitude to life that is what actually programs our DNA and shapes our lives.
Messages from our environment return back to the DNA which determines our behaviour, body & physiology.
So, basically your consciousness creates your reality.
Not the DNA you were born with!

So effectively, you can design your own destiny.
DNA is packed with this unknown potential and it’s up to us to unlock this with our mindset.
We’ve touched on it previously, but we can either live with a fixed mindset or a growth mindset.
So, knowing this, would you agree that our consciousness fluctuates between high and low frequencies, depending on our environment and mindset?
An example of a high frequency being Vitality.
And the lower frequency being Dissatisfaction.
We can live with a lower or higher frequency of consciousness.
Living with pain, lowers our frequency.
And, we can get trapped in the Persistent Pain Cycle.
This is a cycle that can be very difficult to break free from.
Especially if you feel like you’ve tried everything.
Our whole ‘WHY” for starting Holistic Rehabilitation was because we recognised from our own rehab and healing journey’s…
That physical pain is so much more than the physical body.
Our emotional and mental body’s play a massive role in not only contributing to pain, but also eliminating pain.
Which is why if you just work on the physical, you’ll only get a physical result.

Our body provides us the messages, it’s what you do with those messages that will change your state of consciousness.
Creating self awareness and practicing mindfulness will enable you to tap into your body’s innate wisdom, and which this is one of HR’s Pillars of Health.
We can do this through taking time away from devices and distractions, to spend in contemplation, reflection, breathwork, meditation, yoga, journalling, nature and creativity.
The more time you spending doing this, the greater the self awareness, leading to an increase in consciousness.
As our consciousness grows, we attune to a higher frequency, and have a greater ability to manifest what it is we truely desire to create in our lives.
