We recognised a common challenge: a widespread misunderstanding of injuries and a plethora of ‘bandaid’ short term fixes.

Dan Henderson

Over the past 17 years I’ve devoted my life to guiding individuals towards achieving their rehabilitation, strength and mobility dreams.

My passion stems from the immense satisfaction I find in easing people’s daily discomforts — something I deeply relate to due to my own sports injuries.

Understanding the frustration of a compromised quality of life, I’m driven by a mission to restore your vitality so you can get back doing the activities you love to do!

I’m committed to empowering our community with knowledge about holistic pain management and self healing practices.  By fostering a supportive environment, I aim to inspire our clients to embrace a growth mindset, cultivating healthier habits for a resilient mind and body.

Laura Fillmann

Co Founder – Yoga, Meditation + Breath Coach 

Laura teamed up with Dan after leaving a 16-year career in the medical industry to pursue her passion for holistic health and yoga. She knows firsthand the struggles of falling through the gaps in the current health system, having experienced a complete fracture of her C7 vertebra in 2009 and multiple workplace injuries as a Paramedic. Supported by Dan through her rehabilitation journey, Laura transformed her life through continuous personal development, further education, and dedication to her wellbeing. Now, she is committed to supporting others on their healing journeys.

Laura works one-on-one with clients, teaching safe, back pain-friendly yoga to promote spinal fluidity, flexibility, and a deeper connection to self. She offers Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra to release tension and stress, fostering deep relaxation.

Focusing on making ancient meditation practices accessible, Laura creates a balance between body and mind, integrating the physical body, mind, thoughts, emotions, and sense of self. She guides clients beyond the thinking mind to access the bliss and healing body for holistic wellbeing.

Laura also enhances diaphragmatic breathing techniques, which improve posture, calm the mind, and increase bodily awareness. Join her to explore transformative practices that enrich your lifestyle for a more balanced and conscious way of living.

Chrissy Freer

Accredited Nutritionist – RNutr – BAppSc Nutr – M HNutr

Meet Chrissy, our expert nutritional coach with over 20 years of experience, member of the Nutrition Society of Australia, and a passionate advocate for healthy eating and nutrition.

Currently advancing her knowledge with a PhD at Deakin University, Chrissy has made significant contributions as a researcher, health author, and recipe developer. She has authored four nutrition-based cookbooks, including ‘The Anti-inflammatory Cookbook’.

Dedicated to personalising nutrition, Chrissy excels in areas like weight management, anti-inflammatory diets, menopause, digestive health, and plant-based eating. She is particularly skilled at identifying and addressing eating habits that impact your relationship with food, helping clients adopt sustainable eating habits and foster a positive relationship with food.

Chrissy also focuses on reducing pain in the body through tailored nutritional strategies, leveraging anti-inflammatory foods and personalised dietary plans to support overall health and wellbeing.

Louise Walker

Developmental, Meta and Master NLP Coach

Meet Louise; the founder of Courage over Comfort Coaching, who has worked at The Golden Door (now Elysia Wellness Retreat) as the in-house Transformational NLP, Wellness, and Resilience coach.

Louise holds a powerful transformative coaching space, and when working with her, you’ll experience a compassionate coaching conversation, uncovering your blind spots, belief systems, self-sabotage tendencies, and unresourceful thinking patterns. This process shines a light on what’s been keeping you in limitation and unnecessarily consuming your time, energy, and focus.
